Role Summary: This strategic business partner role is essential to how KDN Tax & Legal works with a member firm (or region) and is part of KDN’s broader stakeholder management function. It’s critical to driving member firm awareness and adoption of KDN Tax & Legal solutions, and therefore the ultimate transformation of that member firm’s delivery model and its ability to optimize KDN’s global offerings. Leveraging their experience in a KPMG member firm’s Tax practice, the senior manager will be the day-to-day relationship point between the leadership team at a member firm and KDN’s T&L. They would bring an understanding of a member firm and their partners, and an appreciation of how KDN T&L’s “solutions” can help the member firm in their transformation. Examples of KDN solutions are corporate income tax, indirect tax compliance, transfer pricing compliance, etc. The lead will also report key items for monthly governance calls between the T&L leadership of the member firm and KDN T&L. This will include sales pipeline by solution where the MF is going to market with KDN (e.g. a multi country indirect tax compliance engagement), solution specific delivery model projects between KDN and that member firm (e.g. corporate income tax program), quality statistics by solution (and any escalations), and ensure that agreed actions are progressing. Operating at the intersection of business transformation and stakeholder influence, the individual will collaborate closely with the stakeholder management team in KDN, as well as senior leaders across KDN Tax & Legal, KPMG member firms, and global teams. Success in this role requires exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to navigate complex organisational dynamics, build trust, and influence outcomes across a wide array of senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring experience with managing change at clients, and an outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. This role demands strategic agility, cultural sensitivity, and a proactive mindset to drive alignment and sustained impact across the global network.
How you will make your mark: - Partner closely with the Head of KDN Tax & Legal and the KDN Stakeholder Management team to build an adoption strategy for a member firm(s) or region and then work with that member firm (or region) to deploy the strategy. Success will be measured by the strength of the KDN relationships with the respective member firms, and the impact that KDN is having on their respective transformation. - Engage deeply with member firm stakeholders and KDN solution teams to understand their priorities and respective pain points, jointly developing and implementing targeted adoption strategies that drive meaningful change. - Co-create and maintain high-impact Stakeholder Communications Materials, ensuring consistency and clarity across all channels and audiences. - Lead and coordinate complex change initiatives, working in tandem with the KDN Head of T&L and others on the Stakeholder team to ensure strategic alignment and stakeholder buy-in. - Identify, map, and actively engage key stakeholders across the global Tax & Legal ecosystem, leveraging insights from the Stakeholder Governance Lead to maximize influence and impact. - Develop and deliver tailored training and communication materials, ensuring relevance and resonance with diverse stakeholder groups. - Facilitate strategic workshops and meetings, often in partnership with another Stakeholder Lead, to drive alignment, surface insights, and accelerate adoption. - Monitor and report on the progress of adoption and change initiatives, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. - Collaborate on the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks related to the KDN Tax & Legal business roadmap—including financial, operational, and compliance risks—ensuring proactive stakeholder engagement throughout. - Measure and evaluate the success of adoption initiatives, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and the Stakeholder Governance Lead to refine approaches. - Provide timely and strategic feedback and recommendations to senior management, informed by stakeholder insights and programme performance.
